"We don't stop playing music because we become old. We become old because we stop playing music."
It doesn't really matter who you are, how old or young, tall or short, or anything like that. It's all about being a part of something bigger. Whether you're just starting out playing, or if you've taken a few years off and want to play again (and who wouldn't?) or have been playing all your life - the CSO and CCB are a place where you can bring these skills to the stage.
Not convinced? Just come and visit us! "Sit in" at a rehearsal. You don't even have to play anything if you don't want to - but we'll ask anyway. Come and see what it's like to be playing on our team.

CHINGUACOUSY SWING ORCHESTRA
style: JAZZ/SWING, FUSION, FUNK, SOUL, LATIN, BLUES, ROCK
instrumentation: SAXOPHONE (A/T/B), TRUMPET, TROMBONE, PIANO, GUITAR, BASS, DRUMS, PERCUSSION
challenge: INTERMEDIATE - ALL AGES
rehearsals: THURSDAYS 7:30PM to 10:00PM musical director: AL BOURKE

style: POPS, MODERN, CLASSICAL, HOLLYWOOD, and MEMBER FAVOURITES
instrumentation: FLUTE/PICCOLO, CLARINET, OBOE, BASSOON, SAXOPHONE, FRENCH HORN, TRUMPET, TROMBONE, EUPHONIUM, TUBA, DOUBLE BASS, DRUMS, TYMPANI, MALLET AND AUX PERCUSSION
